Read the blog
What is a farm in real estate?
A real estate farm is a defined geographic area where an agent consistently markets their services and builds expert presence. Agents who farm a neighbourhood over time develop a track record that gives them a conversion advantage over generalist competitors.
What is a Dissemination Area and why does FarmPogo use it?
A Dissemination Area (DA) is the smallest geographic unit for which Statistics Canada publishes census data — typically 400–700 households. FarmPogo uses DAs because they align census demographics, building permits, and planning data to a precise polygon, giving you far more accurate intelligence than a postal code or neighbourhood name ever could.
Can I change my farm after I sign up?
Yes, anytime. Log in to your account and adjust your DA selection on the interactive map. Your next Monday report will reflect your updated farm boundaries.
Is this available outside Nova Scotia?
FarmPogo currently serves Halifax Regional Municipality. NS-wide coverage is planned — join the waitlist if you're outside HRM.
What data sources does FarmPogo use?
FarmPogo draws from: MLS transaction history, Statistics Canada census, NS property assessments, HRM building permits, HRM planning applications, Bank of Canada rates, and Statistics Canada CPI.
